***Best of Opposite Sex in Multiple Breed Specialty*** At the Ottawa Valley Pointing Dog Club Specialty held in Long Sault, Ontario the same weekend as several pointing breeds regional specialties, Hazelle won Best of Breed and was also awarded Best of Opposite Sex in Multiple Breed Specialty at the end of the day. / À la spécialité de chien d'arrêt du club Ottawa Valley Pointing Dog Club, tenue à Long Sault, Ontario, la même fin de semaine que plusieurs spécialités régionales de chien d'arrêt, Hazelle a remporté Meilleure de la Race et Meilleure du Sexe Opposée de la spécialité de chien d'arrêt.

At the Club de l'épagneul français field tests in St-Jean-de-Matha, Quebec, Hazelle earned her first FDX leg at her very first try. / Aux tests de chasse du Club de l'épagneul français, tenus à St-Jean-de-Matha, Québec, Hazelle a obtenue sa première patte vers l'obtention de son FDX et ce, à son premier essai.

***New Companion Dog Excellent*** At the Club Canin Chomedey obedience trials held in Laval, Quebec, Hazelle earned her last leg towards her Companion Dog Excellent Title (CDX). It was Hazelle 4th titles in 2008 and her 3rd one in the last month. / Au concours d'obéissance du Club Canin Chomedey tenus à Laval, Québec, Hazelle obtient sa dernière patte pour son titre de Companion Dog Excellent (CDX). C'était le 4ième titres en 2008 et son 3ième depuis le dernier mois!

***New Tracking Dog Excellent*** At the Mountain City Obedience Club Tracking Test, in Brigham, Quebec, Hazelle earned her Tracking Dog Excellent Title (TDX). / À l'épreuve de pistage du Mountain City Obedience Club à Brigham, Québec, Hazelle obtient son titre de Tracking Dog Excellent (TDX).

***New Field Dog (FD) Title*** At the Ottawa Valley Pointing Dog Club field test held in Maxville, Ontario, Hazelle earned her third FD leg to get her title. She was exclusively owned/trained and handled to her field dog title. I would like to say a big thank you to the French Spaniel people who helped us on our way to that title. / Aux tests de chasse du Ottawa Valley Pointing Dog Club tenus à Maxville, Ontario, Hazelle a obtenue sa dernière patte pour son titre de FD. Un gros merci aux membres du club de l'épagneul français pour leur aide et leurs conseils durant l'entraînement.

***Best of Opposite Sex at Canadian National Specialty  and Best Canadian Bred*** At the Vizsla Canada National Specialty held on Sunday July 13, at the age of 11½ year old, Willow won Best Veteran Dog and was also awarded with a Best of Opposite Sex in Specialty from the Veteran class under judge Mrs. Kim Leblanc in an entry of 53 vizslas (click here for picture). Hazelle did well too making the final cut of 8 dogs to compete for Best of Breed. / À la spécialité nationale canadienne de Vizsla Canada, Willow, à l'âge de 11½ ans, a remporté Meilleur Vétéran Mâle et également Meilleur du sexe Opposé de la classe de Vétérans. Il y avait 53 vizslas d'inscrits et la juge était Mme Kim Leblanc. Hazelle a également très bien fait faisant partie de la sélection finale de 8 chiens pour compétitionner pour le meilleur de la race.

***Award of Merit *** At the Connecticut Valley Vizsla Club Specialty on Saturday June 7, Hazelle was shown for the second time as a Special and in an entry of 100 vizslas, under breeder-judge Mr. Richard Hilderman, she was awared an Award of Merit. / À la spécialité du Connecticut Valley Vizsla Club, Hazelle présentée pour la deuxième comme spéciale a remporté un "Award of Merit". Il y avait 100 vizslas d'inscrits et le juge était M. Richard Hilderman, un éleveur de vizslas!

I showed him for Best Veteran Dog and Gina Currier finished the job in BOB while I was showing Hazelle as a special. Thank you Gina! / À la spécialité du Connecticut Valley Vizsla Club, Willow, à l'âge de 11½ ans, a remporté Meilleur Vétéran Mâle et également Meilleur du sexe Opposé de la classe de Vétérans. Il y avait 100 vizslas d'inscrits et le juge était M. Richard Hilderman, un éleveur de vizslas! Un gros merci à Gina Currier qui a présenté Willow pour le Meilleur de la race pendant que je présentais Hazelle. Merci Gina!

***New American Champion*** At the Pioneer Valley Kennel Club show in West Springfield, MA, Hazelle won Best of Winners Friday and Saturday to finish her american championship in style with a 3 point major. She was moved up as a special on Sunday and won Best of Opposite Sex! / Hazelle était présenté aux expositions de conformation à West Springfield, MA et elle a remporté Best of Winners vendredi et samedi pour terminer son championnat américain en beauté avec une majeure de 3 points. Le dimanche elle était présenté comme "spéciale" et a remporté Best of Opposite Sex !

Happy New Year! Winter is always a quiet time at Bajolo. I have several obedience fun matches planned for January in order to get Hazelle ready for her CDX. I should go back to shows in April. / Bonne Année! Je suis habituellement tranquille durant l'hiver. Plusieurs fun matches d'obéissance sont prévus en janvier en vue de l'obtention du CDX d'Hazelle. Je devrais être de retour en compétition dès le mois d'avril.
